As a Software Development Engineer , Ground Control Console (GC2), you will join the Ground Control Console team to own the development, implementation, and testing of operational tooling for the Project Leo mission. You will build and maintain systems used for launch activities, on-orbit demonstrations, constellation automation, and other critical mission functions. Your daily work involves collaborating with ground and space systems engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions while driving operational excellence through performant application design. The role requires expertise in software engineering practices, front end applications, and the interaction between software and hardware systems. You will utilize programming languages such as C#, C++, Java, or Perl to develop large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications. What we're looking for
Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or lawfully admitted as a refugee or granted asylum.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience for new and existing systems.
1+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
