What you'll do

Ingest and process large volumes of on-orbit telemetry and derived power system metrics.
Predict future satellite energy states using orbital parameters and activity schedules.
Compute and publish per-satellite operational limits for use by other planning systems.
Monitor constellation health in real time to detect anomalies and automate fault escalation.
Develop production-quality code, APIs, and data pipelines to support satellite operations.
Create automated tests and participate in on-call rotations to ensure service reliability.
Translate complex models and algorithms into scalable software services.

What we're looking for

Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status for export control compliance.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
1+ years of experience developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed systems using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
Proficiency in Python or Java.
Experience with at least one of: data pipelines, cloud services, or distributed systems.
Familiarity with version control (Git) and software development best practices like testing, code review, and CI/CD.
Experience with AWS services, scientific computing libraries (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy), or monitoring tools like Grafana and CloudWatch.
