The Software Architect Sr. joins the Systems Engineering Group to lead the design and integration of enterprise solutions within the financial services industry. This role involves analyzing existing systems to understand business functionality, designing optimized integration solutions, and providing technical guidance to development teams. You will build high-volume, low-latency applications using event-driven architectures, distributed systems, and caching mechanisms. Key responsibilities include designing data extraction applications using AI/ML techniques and ensuring security through OAuth and encryption. You will utilize a polyglot stack including Java Springboot, Python, TypeScript, and Go. Technical requirements include experience with containers like OpenShift or Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible, Docker, and Terraform, and monitoring platforms like Logscale and Dynatrace to ensure performance engineering standards.

What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CIS, MIS, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
8 years of experience architecting enterprise solutions based on microservices and event-driven architecture in or for the financial services industry.
Experience leading design of cross-functional, multi-platform, and Web-based application systems using containerization and cloud.
Proficiency in programming languages including Java, Python, TypeScript, and Go.
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as OpenShift or Kubernetes.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code solutions using Ansible, Docker, and Terraform.
Experience designing Microservices and APIs using Java Springboot and Python.
Experience with DevOps tools including Bitbucket, Jenkins, uDeploy, and Artifactory.
