Senior Staff Software Architect

What you'll do

• Develop software reference architectures, system roadmaps, and technical implementation strategies for native, web, and cloud applications.
• Govern adherence to architectural best practices and well-defined reference architectures to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Partner with development teams to design concrete software architectures for software-based medical device products.
• Optimize software application architectures for improved performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Participate in requirements gathering, project planning, and estimation efforts for software solutions.
• Identify and implement complex process improvements to enhance software development efficiency and quality.
• Ensure all software solutions comply with FDA and other relevant global regulatory requirements.
• Document all architectural and design decisions clearly for stakeholders and development teams.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering Mathematics, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience, or a Master's with 7+ years, or a Ph.D. with 2+ years of related experience.
• Experience with at least one public cloud provider platform, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with data design and database technologies such as SQL Server, Postgres, or similar.
• SaaS experience (preferred).
• Full stack coding experience across Front End, Middleware, and Backend (preferred).
• Team leadership experience and demonstrated mentorship capabilities (preferred).
• Expert understanding of architecture principles, patterns, frameworks, and blueprints (preferred).
