Software Application Engineer

What you'll do

• Provide onsite technical support for Tachyon software applications to customer engineering teams.
• Debug product recipes for advanced nodes less than 2x/1x nm.
• Act as the primary liaison between the customer and internal R&D or Product Engineering groups.
• Define technical specifications, timelines, and Statements of Work for customer projects.
• Manage open customer cases and technical issues using the JIRA tracking system.
• Conduct onsite basic training or coordinate requested training sessions for customers.
• Lead short-term projects by monitoring deliveries and coaching small team members.
• Provide weekly reports on customer engagement status and technical requirements.

What we're looking for

• Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Optics sciences, or Physical Sciences.
• 4-6 years of experience with Computational lithography and OPC software tools.
• Experience with direct customer interface.
• Lithography knowledge is a plus (preferred).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively with other teams and strong interpersonal skills.
• Legal authorization to access controlled technology as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations.
• Ability to perform occasional international travel.
