What you'll do

Provide real-time support for network Strike Ground Systems during flight operations and maintenance.
Perform fault isolation, remediation, and resolution for communications and networking issues.
Account for, control, and deploy necessary equipment.
Resolve connectivity and data movement issues between Ground Systems and external networks.
Perform field integration, troubleshooting, and repair of communications systems in flightline and hangar environments.
Provide 24/7 on-site support for the network operations of the Ground Communications Interface.
Manage local networks through updates, configurations, security patches, and drawings.
Review and analyze supplier design data and define functional test requirements for system integration.

What we're looking for

U.S. Citizenship is required.
Ability to be granted and maintain a DoD SECRET clearance.
Ability to obtain Special Access Programs (SAP) as a condition of continued employment.
Current CompTIA Security Plus (or higher) certification.
Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience, or Master’s degree and 0 years of experience, or 6 years of experience in a relevant engineering or IT field.
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience, or Master’s degree and 3 years of experience, or 9 years of experience in a relevant engineering or IT field.
Experience designing and maintaining LAN, WAN, and Cloud based networks.
Experience with configuring, installing, and maintaining network hardware and encryption devices (TACLANES).
