Senior or Staff Site Reliability Engineer, Infrastructure Security

What you'll do

• Design and deploy security solutions for cloud platforms including network, compute, and identity management.
• Build automated systems for real-time security monitoring, logging, and alerting in cloud environments.
• Implement and manage cloud-native tools for endpoint security, IAM, and Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM).
• Automate security configurations and processes using infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Mentor a small team of SREs to ensure technical growth and successful project delivery.
• Translate complex security concepts into actionable information for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Manage the implementation of large-scale security infrastructure across multi-cloud environments.

What we're looking for

• 6+ years of experience in SRE or infrastructure engineering with a focus on security work.
• At least 2 years of experience in a senior or staff engineering role.
• Comprehensive understanding of cloud environment security from OS networking layers to provider configurations.
• Expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) including IAM and VPC networking.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language and experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Strong understanding of Linux and networking fundamentals within complex systems.
• Ability to explain complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to lead a small technical team and mentor team members.
