What you'll do

Configure, maintain, monitor, and optimize applications and their associated infrastructure.
Implement infrastructure, configuration, and network as code for assigned platforms.
Develop and implement deployment and reliability approaches using automated CI/CD pipelines.
Use authorized AI capabilities to accelerate incident triage, troubleshooting, and post-incident analysis.
Identify patterns in operational signals to address reliability risks and reduce recurring toil.
Resolve complex problems by proactively addressing issues based on service level indicators and objectives.
Design and advocate for site reliability engineering best practices within the team.
Explore new technologies to identify improvements and solve business problems.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification in site reliability engineering concepts.
3+ years of applied experience in site reliability engineering.
Experience supporting SRE practices for data management/migration platforms on on-prem or public cloud infrastructure.
Proficiency in at least one programming language or configuration tools like Python, Ansible, and Terraform.
Experience with observability tools such as Grafana, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Datadog, or Splunk.
Experience with container orchestration technologies including Kubernetes, ECS, and Docker.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab.
Familiarity with troubleshooting common networking technologies and issues.
