What you'll do

Implement and maintain robust observability solutions to provide real-time insights into system performance and health.
Investigate and resolve critical incidents swiftly while performing thorough root cause analysis.
Develop tools and automate runbooks using programming languages like Python, Go, or Java to reduce manual toil.
Maintain and manage technical documentation and best practices for team knowledge sharing.
Monitor distributed system architectures using log monitoring and analysis tools such as Splunk.
Manage containerized microservices across both cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
Troubleshoot complex networking issues including TLS/SSL, DNS, and load balancers in large-scale environments.

What we're looking for

3+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Software Engineering, or a related field in the US.
Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language such as Python, Go, or Java.
Hands-on expertise in monitoring distributed system architectures and using log analysis tools like Splunk.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (equivalent practical experience).
Understanding of database principles and knowledge of distributed storage solutions like Oracle, Cassandra, SOLR, and Kafka (preferred).
Command of Linux, networking concepts, and troubleshooting skills in large scale environments (preferred).
Experience with container management and microservices architectures such as Docker across cloud and on-premises infrastructure (preferred).
