Site Reliability Engineer, Enterprise Technology Services

What you'll do

• Implement and maintain robust observability solutions to provide real-time insights into system performance and health.
• Investigate and resolve incidents swiftly during critical situations to minimize user impact.
• Perform thorough root cause analysis to identify and prevent the recurrence of system issues.
• Build tools and automate runbooks using coding skills to reduce manual toil and increase efficiency.
• Maintain and manage runbooks and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing across the team.
• Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of the Full Material Disclosure Platform.

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Software Engineering, or a related field in the US.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language such as Python, Go, or Java.
• Experience monitoring distributed system architectures with hands-on expertise in log monitoring and analysis tools like Splunk.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (equivalent practical experience).
• Understanding of database principles and distributed storage solutions like Oracle, Cassandra, SOLR, and Kafka (1-2 yrs of experience) (preferred).
• Command of Linux, networking concepts, and troubleshooting in large scale environments (1-2 yrs of experience) (preferred).
• Experience with container management and microservices architectures such as Docker across cloud and on-premises infrastructure (preferred).
