Lab Technical Project Manager, System Product Team

What you'll do

• Manage lab space allocation for R&D, product development, thermal mechanical, software, and hardware engineering projects.
• Serve as a "lab space broker" to allocate capacity efficiently and fairly across various internal teams.
• Lead small-scale lab infrastructure projects, including moves and equipment upgrades.
• Track physical space using web-based tools, inventory sheets, and visual layouts.
• Conduct safety reviews and identify opportunities to improve operational safety and efficiency.
• Proactively anticipate the needs of engineering teams based on experience and operational knowledge.
• Negotiate with suppliers and support services to obtain quotes and achieve project goals.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Background in engineering with strong experience of lab equipment and technology.
• Junior management experience in a lab environment.
• Corporate real estate experience in a high-tech setting managing infrastructure projects.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an innovative product development environment.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills to engage with stakeholders and leadership.
• Proficiency in MS Visio, MS SharePoint, and Jira.
• Experience in high-tech construction project management or familiarity with the datacenter product ecosystem.
