Technical Product Manager

What you'll do

• Develop and execute a product strategy and vision that delivers measurable value to customers.
• Manage discovery efforts and market research to integrate customer solutions into the product roadmap.
• Own and maintain the product backlog to support the strategic roadmap and value proposition.
• Define and govern REST and GraphQL standards, including versioning, deprecation SLAs, and schema conventions.
• Establish and monitor key success metrics including cost, reliability, risk posture, and p95/p99 latency.
• Define security standards for OAuth2, OIDC, mTLS, and secrets management integration.
• Set and enforce SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and observability standards using OpenTelemetry.
• Prioritize tasks based on cost of delay, reliability risk, developer productivity, and total cost of ownership.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience in product management or a relevant domain area.
• 5+ years in technical product management or engineering leadership with prior Java developer experience.
• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
• Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics.
• Hands-on experience with Java 17+, Spring Boot 3.x, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, WebFlux vs. MVC, Resilience4j, and Spring Data JPA/R2DBC.
• Experience with Kafka (partitions, compaction, schema evolution, idempotency) and GraphQL (schema design, federation, persisted queries, N+1 mitigation).
• Proven delivery of API/schema governance, versioning/deprecation, and CI policy gates.
• Strong SRE practices including SLIs/SLOs, error budgets, OpenTelemetry, and developer productivity metrics (preferred).
