You will utilize tools such as VNAs, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes for lab validation. The role addresses critical challenges in package design, SI/PI, and RF technology within the context of modern wireless devices.

What you'll do

Solve complex problems at the intersection of electromagnetic models and active/passive circuits.
Optimize designs and mitigate coupling for ICs, packages, and boards using 2D/3D EM simulation.
Apply RF and PDN modeling to ensure correlation between simulations and real-world measurements.
Perform Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) analysis across RF and digital systems.
Diagnose and resolve spur and desense issues in both simulation environments and physical labs.
Validate theories and designs using VNAs, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes.

What we're looking for

A Bachelor's degree is required.
Proficiency in RF and microwave engineering fundamentals is preferred.
Expertise with 2D/3D EM simulation tools is preferred.
Experience with IC design and simulation flow is preferred.
Hands-on experience in RF module and board development and debug is preferred.
Experience with high-speed signal or optics/photonics design is preferred.
Knowledge of RF system modeling and link budgeting for transceiver chains is preferred.
