Silicon Supplier Excellence Engineer

What you'll do

• Lead technical engagements between Apple and silicon and IP suppliers across all development phases.
• Oversee hardware and software verification, validation, and qualification activities to ensure on-schedule completion.
• Drive technical direction with supplier teams in architecture, design methodology, and hardware/software implementation.
• Manage productization tasks for high-volume manufacturing, including characterization, validation, and statistical analysis.
• Distill critical technical and business data into actionable information for data-driven decision-making.
• Direct multi-functional debug efforts and manage crisis situations during dynamic, schedule-driven development.
• Manage design complexity and large technical teams using advanced EDA tools and approaches.

What we're looking for

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 20 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in integrated circuit design and design automation tools.
• Hands-on experience with front-end and back-end digital tool suites, including place and route, synthesis, and design verification.
• SOC Implementation Skills.
• Deep knowledge of EDA tools and approaches for managing design complexity and large technical teams (preferred).
• Strong communication, program management, and social skills (preferred).
• Comfort with dynamic schedule-driven development, crisis management, and directing multi-functional debug efforts (preferred).
