What you'll do

Lead technical engagements between Apple and silicon and IP suppliers on groundbreaking technologies.
Drive technical exchanges with supplier teams across architecture, design methodology, hardware, and software.
Oversee joint hardware and software verification, validation, and qualification activities to ensure on-schedule completion.
Manage all phases of silicon development from micro-architecture specification to high-volume manufacturing.
Perform characterization, validation, qualification, and statistical analysis for digital, analog, and memory technologies.
Distill critical technical and business data into actionable information for data-driven decision-making.
Direct multi-functional debug efforts and manage crisis situations during dynamic schedule-driven development.

What we're looking for

BS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
20 years of relevant experience.
Proven experience in integrated circuit design and design automation tools.
Hands-on experience with front-end and back-end digital tool suites, including place and route, synthesis, and design verification.
SOC implementation skills.
Deep knowledge of EDA tools and approaches for managing design complexity and large technical teams (preferred).
Strong communication, program management, and social skills (preferred).
Comfort with dynamic schedule-driven development, crisis management, and directing multi-functional debug efforts (preferred).
