What you'll do

Perform certified welding and thermal cutting to fabricate, repair, and modify tools.
Plan work operations efficiently for task completion.
Execute various welding techniques according to Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
Operate shop equipment to prepare materials before and after welding.
Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of welding equipment and areas.
Fabricate shop aids and set up work in welding fixtures securely.
Organize and manage welding supplies, preparing requisition lists as required.

What we're looking for

7+ years of professional welding experience.
Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
Expertise in operating powered hand tools and manual lathes.
Certified and qualified for all-position pipe welding performance tests.
Experience with Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), and Tig Welding (TW).
Ability to safely move, lift, and position materials using shop equipment.
