What you'll do

  • Define the software roadmap for core Tactical Recon & Strike products like Ghost, Anvil, Bolt, and Altius.
  • Execute on ambiguous requirements from internal engineering, program offices, and third-party partners to deliver results across multiple programs.
  • Coordinate and execute hardware and software test events ranging from simulations to live flight tests.
  • Manage and unblock cross-functional projects while instilling an efficient project management mindset across teams.
  • Identify and resolve systemic execution issues and manage critical cross-team dependencies.
  • Partner with leadership to scope, staff, and deliver capabilities aligned with the technical roadmap.
  • Track and communicate program progress through defined processes for various stakeholders.
  • Analyze architectural designs to propose technical alternatives and clarify priorities for engineering teams.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Technical Program Manager, Technical Product Manager, Engineering Manager, or Engineer in autonomous systems, robotics, or software development.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
  • Strong technical aptitude to understand designs, the software development lifecycle, and risks while working with engineering teams.
  • Experience working in rapidly iterating test environments with high levels of integration with software development teams.
  • Strong project management experience including practical familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Familiarity with robotics or computer vision systems and their architecture (preferred).
  • Ability to work within organizations with minimal structure and direction, and experience rolling out disruptive process changes (preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an Engineering discipline; professional certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, GIAC-PEN, Prosci, SAFe, or PMP (preferred).
