Senior Sustainment Engineer

What you'll do

• Architect an automation-first digital toolchain to streamline ILS/IPS workflows from months to hours.
• Define and own a unified Logistics Product Data environment connecting FMECA, RCM, MTA, and spares.
• Identify and build AI and automation capabilities to accelerate sustainment analysis cycles.
• Build integrations to automatically propagate BOM changes and design decisions through sustainment artifacts.
• Lead the transition from legacy point-tools to an integrated sustainment toolchain architecture.
• Drive feedback loops between field operational data and sustainment planning models to refine estimates.
• Represent sustainment data architecture in enterprise PLM/ERP governance and cross-functional infrastructure decisions.

What we're looking for

• 7+ years of experience in sustainment engineering, logistics engineering, or ILS roles within defense or aerospace.
• Deep practitioner experience personally building FMECA, RCM, LORA, maintenance task analysis, or provisioning data.
• Demonstrated ability to manage Logistics Product Data using S-Series ILS frameworks and standard logistics information systems.
• Proficiency in Python or scripting to build data connectors and extend automation.
• Experience with Product Lifecycle Management systems (Teamcenter preferred).
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Systems, Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace) or Computer Science/Information Systems.
• Experience with DoD 5000 series acquisition, CDRL management, and contractual deliverable compliance (preferred).
