What you'll do

  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality requirements for materials, components, and services.
  • Lead investigations into supplier quality issues, nonconforming materials, and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs).
  • Coordinate supplier onboarding activities including Approved Supplier List additions and system setup.
  • Develop product acceptance strategies, control plans, and quality requirements for new products and processes.
  • Define receiving inspection requirements and support the validation of internal test methods.
  • Evaluate supplier change notifications to assess impacts on manufacturing operations and inventory.
  • Apply statistical quality techniques to analyze performance trends and implement corrective actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.

What we're looking for

  • Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a technical field with 4+ years of experience in Engineering and/or Quality.
  • Candidates may hold an Advanced Degree in Engineering, Science, or a technical field with 2+ years of experience in Engineering and/or Quality.
  • Candidates may hold a PhD in Engineering, Science, or a technical field with no required years of experience.
  • Candidates must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience investigating quality issues, nonconforming products, corrective actions, or supplier-related concerns.
  • Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, statistical quality control methods, and Six Sigma principles is preferred.
  • Experience in medical device manufacturing or other regulated environments is preferred.
  • ASQ Certified Quality Auditor or ASQ Lead Auditor certification is preferred.
