What you'll do

  • Manage a team of Supplier Quality Engineers to ensure the delivery of quality components, materials, and services.
  • Develop and maintain monitoring systems to track supplier performance, nonconformances, and corrective actions.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve supplier-related quality or compliance issues during production.
  • Direct the team in executing corrective and preventive actions for audit findings and complaint investigations.
  • Ensure all supplied products comply with purchasing controls, FDA regulations, and international quality standards.
  • Oversee risk reduction initiatives and manage nonconforming products in accordance with company policy.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop staff to meet performance goals and professional development objectives.
  • Manage daily operations by prioritizing strategic initiatives and conducting regular performance reviews for direct reports.

What we're looking for

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a technical field with 7+ years of experience in Engineering, Quality, and/or a regulated industry and 5+ years of leadership experience.
  • Alternatively, requires an Advanced Degree in Engineering, Science, or a technical field with 5+ years of experience in Engineering, Quality, and/or a regulated industry and 5+ years of leadership experience.
  • Candidates with degrees from outside the United States must satisfy requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A).
  • Must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment.
  • Requires experience leading teams, mentoring staff, and managing performance in a regulated environment.
  • Requires experience with supplier quality, corrective/preventive actions, and compliance with FDA and international regulations.
  • An MBA or Master’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a technical field is preferred.
  • ASQ CQE, CQA, or CSQP certifications and Six Sigma or Lean Green/Black Belt certifications are preferred.
