Senior Manufacturing Quality Engineer

What you'll do

• Drive improvements in product design, manufacturing, and supplier performance to enhance reliability across the product lifecycle.
• Ensure Quality Management System compliance and sustainability according to AS9100 certification standards.
• Develop and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and evaluate product quality.
• Use a data-driven approach to prioritize and track quality issues from suppliers, manufacturing, and field reports.
• Lead investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventative actions for internal and supplier issues.
• Manage raw material supplier inspection programs and execute MRB activities.
• Conduct containment, audit, and disposition actions for any defective materials or quality escapes.
• Partner with production teams to define process control plans and end-of-line tests that meet customer requirements.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a similar technical field.
• 5+ years of experience working with OEM suppliers and manufacturing operations for complex hardware/software systems.
• 5+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, or quality within aerospace, defense, automotive, or medical device fields.
• Experience working in ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 regulated environments.
• Knowledge of Quality core tools including FMEA, RCCA/8D, Change Management, APQP, PPAP, and GD&T.
• Hands-on experience using mechanical and electrical metrology tools and instruments.
• Working knowledge of electro-mechanical design and relevant manufacturing processes.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
