Senior Supplier Quality Engineer, Cable & Wire Harness

What you'll do

• Drive supplier quality development processes through design reviews, testing, and qualification for cable and wire harness products.
• Develop and implement functional test processes at supplier locations in partnership with engineering teams.
• Manage supplier readiness by analyzing critical characteristics, developing measurement systems, and overseeing PPAP and FAIR activities.
• Eliminate supplier risk across the product lifecycle through audits, readiness reviews, and training documentation.
• Lead Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) and Material Review Board (MRB) activities for purchased goods.
• Audit supplier Quality Management Systems to ensure compliance with customer flow-down requirements.
• Conduct onsite supplier audits and reviews to ensure contract deliverables meet quality and compliance standards.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a similar technical field.
• 7-10 years of experience in Supplier Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or as an onsite Quality Engineer for Wire Harness production.
• At least 3 years of experience performing source inspection in wire harness manufacturing suppliers.
• Active or former IPC 620 Certification.
• Working knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and AS9102 First Article Inspection standards.
• Proficiency in product development methodologies including FMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA, and GD&T.
• Experience with supplier performance evaluation, SOWs, and government regulations like ITAR.
• Ability to obtain and hold a U.S. TS/SCI security clearance.
