What you'll do

Define and execute quality processes for high-reliability castings used in aerospace programs.
Collaborate with design teams to provide manufacturability feedback and generate product data for supplier success.
Manage technical risks and lead proof of concepts, prototyping, and scaling designs for volume production.
Drive supplier quality development through design reviews, process development, testing, and qualification stages.
Review supplier processes and capabilities to ensure alignment with mechanical and sub-assembly requirements.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Metallurgy or similar technical field.
Experience producing castings and mechanical assemblies for maritime, aerospace, or space applications.
AS9100 Lead / Internal Auditor Certification or equivalent preferred.
TS/SCI security clearance required.
Experience with source inspection at mechanical manufacturing suppliers.
Knowledge of non-destructive inspection techniques throughout process development.
Qualifying metal joining methods including welding and brazing for critical structures.
