What you'll do

Design and deploy scalable AI and data governance systems to track datasets, models, and policies.
Architect authentication and access control frameworks using OAuth 2.0 and attribute-based access control.
Develop backend services in Java, Scala, Kotlin, Go, or Python to embed regulatory requirements into workflows.
Build batch and streaming pipelines using Spark, Hadoop, or Flink to transform raw data into governed inputs.
Design REST APIs, SDKs, and web tools to enable internal teams to manage governance approvals at scale.
Architect fault-tolerant serving systems on AWS, GCP, or Kubernetes to safeguard data integrity and auditability.
Identify and mitigate risks in distributed environments to ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and DMA.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
8+ years of experience developing Data & AI governance software or integrating systems with governance systems.
Experience working with large data collection and processing systems.
Demonstrated proficiency in data management and building scalable systems that underpin AI applications.
Strong understanding of privacy and regulatory requirements such as GDPR, CCPA, and DMA.
Proven ability to work effectively with diverse teams including security, legal, privacy, compliance, and data engineering (preferred).
Experience in designing and implementing robust data governance frameworks, policies, and standards for ethical AI deployment (preferred).
Track record of identifying and mitigating risks in complex distributed data environments for AI-driven projects (preferred).
