Senior Machine Learning iOS Platform Engineer, Responsible AI and Safety

What you'll do

• Integrate safety classifiers and guardrail models across on-device and server-side inference platforms.
• Design and implement the technical architecture for complex multimodal workflows and generative features.
• Optimize high-performance systems for real-time interactions and large-scale image processing.
• Develop tools, frameworks, and evaluation methods to monitor and diagnose model failures.
• Manage the end-to-end deployment lifecycle of Responsible AI mitigation assets.
• Translate safety requirements into performant software experiences using Swift and Apple's core frameworks.
• Lead the development of mobile frameworks used by multiple teams across the organization.

What we're looking for

• 12+ years of professional experience.
• At least 5+ years of experience in iOS and macOS application development using Objective-C and Swift.
• Expertise in Apple's Core iOS and Foundation frameworks.
• Experience leading the architecture and development of complex, high-performance production systems.
• Experience shipping impactful mobile frameworks used by teams outside your direct team.
• Demonstrated ability to technically lead projects, mentor engineers, and drive cross-functional initiatives.
• A BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Knowledge of on-device ML runtimes, model-export lifecycles, and frontier LLM models is preferred.
