Senior Staff GPU Kernel Mode Driver Engineer

What you'll do

• Architect, design, implement, and optimize the performance and power of GPU cores.
• Develop pre-silicon kernel mode drivers and software tools for various graphics workloads.
• Perform pre- and post-silicon verification to ensure hardware correctness and meet power goals.
• Design and execute comprehensive graphics tests to verify functionality, stability, and performance across different scenarios.
• Analyze complex test results using statistics and data predictions to identify areas for improvement.
• Conduct extensive debug sessions involving multiple layers of graphics software and hardware architecture elements.
• Write detailed technical documentation and feature descriptions to guide users and customers.
• Research industry trends to ensure GPU solutions align with best practices and next-generation innovations.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Nine years of progressive experience in a related occupation.
• Experience architecting, designing, implementing, verifying, and optimizing performance and power of GPU cores.
• Experience developing pre-silicon kernel mode drivers and associated software, tools, and tests for graphics workloads.
• Ability to perform pre- and post-silicon verification to ensure functionality, performance, and power goals are met.
• Proficiency in conducting complex analysis of test results using statistics and data predictions.
• Experience performing extensive debug sessions across various layers of GFX software and hardware architecture elements.
• Ability to write clear and detailed technical documentation for complex projects.
