Embedded Software Engineer, Senior

What you'll do

• Design and deploy advanced embedded systems for rugged platforms in harsh environments.
• Integrate CPUs, GPUs, TPUs, and FPGAs into edge computing pipelines.
• Optimize AI models for real-time inference using quantization and pruning.
• Harden systems against cyber and physical threats using zero-trust security designs.
• Develop software using C, C++, Rust, or Python for RTOS and Linux environments.
• Build packaged edge stacks that sync to the cloud but operate independently.
• Implement containerization technologies and micro-service network architectures.
• Manage software deployment through CI/CD tools and GitLab.

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of experience in software development and with embedded systems.
• 2+ years of experience integrating CPUs, GPUs, TPUs, or FPGAs into edge pipelines.
• Experience with C, C++, Rust, and Python programming languages.
• Experience with containerization, micro-service network architecture, CI/CD tools, and Agile methodology.
• Experience with zero-trust designs, hardening, and designing packaged edge stacks that sync to the cloud.
• HS diploma or GED with 10+ years of professional experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Top Secret clearance (preferred); AWS IoT Core, Greengrass, or Solutions Architect Certification (preferred); NVIDIA Certified Professional Certification (preferred).
