What you'll do

Design, develop, and extensively test complex engineering solutions for advanced tactical radio operating systems and waveform software.
Write embedded C/C++ code using object-oriented design, real-time, and multi-threaded programming techniques.
Apply DSP and RF concepts to develop and evaluate interfaces between hardware and software.
Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle for mission-critical systems.
Develop software test procedures, create software programs, and maintain related technical documentation.
Identify, track, and repair software defects within large and complex existing software systems.
Contribute to the development of departmental goals and long-term planning efforts.

What we're looking for

Must be able to obtain a US security clearance.
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience.
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
Minimum of 10 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
Proficient with embedded C/C++, object-oriented design, real-time, and multi-threaded programming.
Proficient with DSP and RF concepts and technology.
Experience with real-time operating systems such as VxWorks RTOS, Linux, or QNX.
U.S. citizens.
