Senior Specialist Quality Engineering

What you'll do

• Conduct comprehensive audits of quality management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
• Manage internal audit systems for AS9100D and ISO17025, including processes, checklists, reports, and performance metrics.
• Lead audit preparation, follow-up, and the development of corrective action plans for various inspection findings.
• Develop and maintain PowerBI dashboards to analyze and demonstrate the effectiveness of quality management systems.
• Manage software quality systems and metrics to ensure organizational compliance and efficiency.
• Provide training and guidance to the organization on quality management best practices.
• Identify and resolve product problems or post-delivery defects using problem-solving tools like 8D and Six Sigma.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process solutions across the entire organization.

What we're looking for

• Must be a United States Citizen able to obtain and maintain a security clearance if required.
• Bachelor's degree and 6 years of Quality Engineering experience, a Graduate degree and 4 years of experience, or 10 years of related experience without a degree.
• Minimum of 6 years experience performing audits on quality systems, including Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor training.
• At least 6 years of experience with problem-solving tools such as 8D, Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping, and CAPA.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and test lifecycle.
• Ability to interpret requirements, specifications, and interface documentation.
• Aerospace or Defense Manufacturing experience (preferred).
• U.S. citizens.
