Senior Specialist, Engineering - Oral Solid Dose Packaging

What you'll do

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for manufacturing packaging and medical device assembly lines.
• Manage the purchase, installation, and qualification of new and existing packaging equipment.
• Lead the scale-up and technology transfer of pilot processes to full production scale.
• Conduct root cause analysis investigations for equipment-related or complex quality events.
• Provide written scientific justification for process changes by designing experiments and analyzing data.
• Support quality and regulatory activities, including site inspections and preparation of technical documents.
• Author process change controls and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Evaluate quality standard specifications and methods for raw materials and final products.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Industrial Technology.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant industrial experience.
• Experience working in a GMP pharmaceutical environment.
• Experience with bottle, blister, and oral solid dosage form packaging.
• Expertise in equipment qualification and process validation for complex systems.
• Proficiency in project management and Lean Six Sigma tools.
• Strong technical leadership, communication, and analytical skills to lead sub-teams.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues with minimal supervision.
