What you'll do

Define and execute the techno-commercial sourcing strategy for the Cables commodity.
Influence engineering design decisions regarding material choices, manufacturability, and cost competitiveness.
Translate technical requirements into supplier selection, commercial models, and long-term strategies.
Lead should-cost analysis and value engineering to drive cost reduction and avoidance.
Evaluate supplier manufacturing capabilities, capacity readiness, and quality systems for scalability.
Conduct commercial negotiations regarding pricing, tooling, lead times, and contract terms.
Develop alternate suppliers and OEM pathways to reduce single-source dependency.
Manage lifecycle risks including obsolescence, technology transitions, and supply continuity.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
15+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, commodity management, supplier development, or techno-commercial supply chain roles.
Experience with cables, harnesses, interconnects, electromechanical components, or comparable engineered commodities.
Proven expertise in should-costing, value engineering, supplier negotiations, contract governance, and lifecycle risk management.
Ability to interpret technical requirements and translate them into sourcing strategies and commercial outcomes.
Strong stakeholder influence, executive communication, analytical thinking, and cross-functional leadership skills.
Experience in semiconductor equipment, high-tech manufacturing, or complex engineered product environments is preferred.
Professional certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent are desirable.
