What you'll do

Develop and execute commodity strategies for connectors to improve cost, quality, and supply chain resilience.
Lead the RFI/RFQ/RFP process and manage strategic sourcing for connector manufacturing components.
Manage end-to-end relationships with Contract Manufacturers to ensure continuity of supply and risk management.
Perform data-driven TCO analysis on quote submissions to evaluate every element of the supply chain.
Partner with Engineering teams to influence technical design specifications and customize manufacturing requirements.
Negotiate commercial agreements with suppliers to establish best-in-class pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
Oversee supplier performance management by tracking key metrics for delivery, quality, cost, and innovation.
Provide technical direction and guide product strategy throughout the entire product lifecycle.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related technical field.
8+ years of experience in supply chain commodity management for connectors, cables, or harness manufacturing.
Experience in sourcing engineering is required.
Ability to travel up to approximately 50% of the time.
Ability to relocate to and work onsite in Costa Mesa, CA.
Preferred degree in electrical or electronics engineering.
Experience in defense, aerospace, automotive, or high-tech industries is preferred.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance.
