As the Technical Sourcing Manager, Network Hardware, you will lead commercial hardware engagement and strategic silicon procurement for over 200 data centers. You will manage the procurement of network hardware including routers, switches, and interconnect commodities while leading complex multi-party negotiations to meet total cost of ownership targets. Your role involves bridging the gap between procurement and physical deployment by coordinating global infrastructure installations and managing supply flows from manufacturers against worldwide schedules. To succeed, you must possess an engineering or analytical background, experience with networking equipment OEMs, and proficiency in tools like JIRA and DCIM systems. You will also utilize generative AI and LLMs to optimize workflows and analyze data. This role solves the challenge of integrating cutting-edge hardware into a rapidly expanding global network while ensuring high quality and supply reliability.
Manage procurement of network hardware including routers, switches, and interconnect commodities.
Lead complex multi-party negotiations to achieve Total Cost of Ownership targets and supply goals.
Oversee vendor contract compliance for maintenance, support, and asset inventory management.
Establish robust evaluation processes like RFX and QBR in partnership with engineering teams.
Coordinate global infrastructure installations by aligning manufacturer supply with deployment schedules.
Identify automation opportunities to optimize procurement workflows and physical deployment processes.
What we're looking for
Experience with networking equipment OEMs (preferred).
Experience executing complex datacenter infrastructure projects in a rapidly changing environment (preferred).
Deep understanding of the commercial benefits of hardware technologies and practical knowledge of physical datacenter networking (preferred).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders (preferred).
Demonstrated "AI-native curiosity" and ability to use tools like generative AI or LLMs to optimize workflows (preferred).
Engineering or heavy analytical background to support Total Cost of Ownership modeling (preferred).
Master's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or an engineering field (preferred); familiarity with AI hardware, program management, or DCIM tools (preferred).
Export control laws, including the U.S. Export Administration Regulations.
