Join NVIDIA as a Senior Solutions Architect on the Cluster Design and Architecture team, focusing on cutting-edge networking technologies like Infiniband, Spectrum-X, NVLink, and more. You will collaborate closely with engineering and field teams to support customers in designing and deploying large-scale AI and HPC infrastructure, ensuring optimal network configurations for thousands of GPUs. Your responsibilities include guiding cluster design, optimizing network topology, validating performance, and troubleshooting complex issues. Ideal candidates have a strong background in network architecture, experience with NVIDIA’s networking products, and the ability to translate technical concepts into customer-ready documentation. This role demands expertise in large-scale distributed systems, AI clusters, and HPC infrastructure, as well as hands-on knowledge of NCCL, MPI, and collective communication patterns.
Partner with engineering teams to convey architecture guidelines to customers and field teams.
Guide field teams and customers in designing high-performance GPU clusters, considering situational limitations.
Ensure successful first deployments of new network architectures and topologies by assisting field teams.
Provide feedback from customer interactions to internal engineering teams for product development and documentation.
Perform hands-on troubleshooting with field teams to resolve network build and configuration issues.
What we're looking for
8+ years experience in network architecture, design, validation, and troubleshooting
Proven expertise in designing large-scale distributed systems, AI clusters, or HPC infrastructure
Hands-on experience with NVIDIA networking products like Infiniband, Spectrum-X, BlueField
Knowledge of NCCL, MPI, and collective communication patterns for distributed training
Background in network performance optimization, congestion control, and validation at scale
Ability to translate complex engineering concepts into customer-ready documentation and diagrams
