Senior Quality Engineer

What you'll do

• Define and execute a comprehensive quality strategy for native apps, backend services, SDKs, and frameworks.
• Design and maintain automated test suites using XCUITest, XCTest, and API automation as CI merge gates.
• Partner with engineers to influence testability, feature flag design, and instrumentation during the early design process.
• Validate app versions against content, services, and OS releases to identify regressions across various dependencies.
• Report release-readiness to stakeholders by translating coverage data and defect trends into go/no-go recommendations.
• Root-cause failures across multiple system boundaries including networking, client, service, and content layers.
• Manage test data and environment fidelity to mirror production data in lower environments.

What we're looking for

• 7+ years of experience in software quality engineering, test automation, or software development.
• Demonstrated technical leadership in defining quality strategy across native clients, backend services, and delivery pipelines.
• Proven experience testing native iOS and macOS applications end-to-end on managed Apple devices using XCUITest and XCTest.
• Proficient in Swift and Python to build automation and debug client apps and backend services.
• Proven experience testing web applications and backend services using API, contract, and browser automation.
• Experience testing asynchronous, distributed workflows including job orchestration, retries, and eventual consistency.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control including Jenkins, GitHub, Docker/Kubernetes, Ansible, and Rundeck.
• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
