As a Senior Software Infrastructure Engineer - OCI Networking, you will join the OCI Networking team to build large-scale distributed infrastructure for a multi-tenant cloud environment. You will design, architect, and build distributed systems that enable rapid region builds and network orchestration while developing services and frameworks to simplify complex networking challenges at scale. Your daily work involves improving service reliability, latency, and operational automation through intelligent tooling and self-healing systems. The role requires proficiency in Java, GoLang, C#, or similar object-oriented languages, along with experience in SQL, NoSQL, Kafka, Apache Spark, and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform. You will solve critical problems regarding high availability and scalability for cloud infrastructure, ensuring that data travels across long distances while remaining compliant with necessary regulations within a mission-critical tier-one livesite environment.
Design and architect large-scale distributed systems for network orchestration and rapid region builds across OCI.
Develop services and frameworks to simplify complex networking challenges at scale.

What we're looking for
Must be located within 50 miles of Nashville, TN, or willing to relocate to work in the office full-time.
BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a relevant technical field involving coding, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of total experience in software development.
Ability to write high-quality code using Java, GoLang, C#, or similar object-oriented languages.
Experience with the full software development lifecycle and delivering products.
Experience working on large-scale, highly distributed services infrastructure in a mission-critical tier-one livesite environment.
Experience designing architectures for high availability, scalability, and technical depth across multiple products.
Experience with public cloud platforms, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), SQL/NoSQL databases, or big data technologies like Kafka and Spark (preferred).
