What you'll do

Develop and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java, Python, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
Build and support cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform including Cloud Run, BigQuery, and Pub/Sub.
Optimize application performance, database design, and system reliability through automation and engineering best practices.
Manage CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments using tools like Git, Harness, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root cause analyses, and participate in on-call incident management.
Enhance system observability by implementing monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions using Prometheus and Grafana.
Provide technical guidance to junior engineers through code reviews and the promotion of reusable components.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications while participating in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning.

What we're looking for

6+ years of experience designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting enterprise software applications.
Experience building cloud-native applications and distributed systems using containerized and Kubernetes-based deployments.
Experience leading technical initiatives and applying software architecture and system design patterns to complex requirements.
Knowledge of Agile software development practices and cross-functional collaboration with product, architecture, and quality assurance teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
Proficiency in Java, Python, Bash/shell scripting, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services, Docker, Kubernetes, Apache Kafka, and PostgreSQL.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, unit/integration testing, and monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
Experience designing highly available distributed systems and event-driven architectures (preferred).
Familiarity with Harness, Puppet, Google Kubernetes Engine, and advanced observability practices (preferred).
