What you'll do

Design, implement, and operate production security services including scanning tools and backend APIs.
Build agentic and LLM-driven systems with integrated evaluation harnesses and guardrails.
Develop automated security assurance tools that provide high-confidence findings for engineering teams.
Implement software supply chain protections such as dependency risk management and artifact signing.
Integrate security controls into existing developer workflows to minimize friction during the development lifecycle.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with integrated security checks and policy-based admission controls.
Conduct research, prototyping, and technical presentations for internal customers and leadership.
Perform code and security reviews to ensure high quality standards for shipped software.

What we're looking for

8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, including production ownership of non-trivial systems.
Proficiency in at least two of the following: Python, Go, or Java.
Solid knowledge of software supply chain security concepts like dependency risk, build integrity, and artifact signing.
Experience designing and operating agentic systems and LLM-integrated applications in production.
Familiarity with application security assurance methodologies including static and dynamic analysis.
Experience designing and operating distributed backends, APIs, and data pipelines with high uptime requirements.
Experience building CI/CD pipelines and integrating security controls into them.
Proficiency in shell scripting for Linux and macOS environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience in a related field (preferred).
Experience building policy admission systems that enforce security controls at deployment or runtime (preferred).
Experience with threat modeling, taint analysis, or other program-analysis techniques (preferred).
Knowledge of common web and service-level vulnerabilities like injection and authentication flaws (preferred).
Full-stack engineering experience including building user-facing surfaces (preferred).
Experience with containerization, orchestration, and cloud infrastructure at scale (preferred).
Experience with gRPC and other high-performance service interfaces (preferred).
