What you'll do

Architect and implement scalable frameworks for test coverage, data management, and CI/CD integration.
Design production-grade libraries and developer tooling for the virtual networking layer.
Partner with engineers to co-design testable interfaces and embed coverage into networking features.
Build automated triage and diagnostics tools to accelerate root cause analysis of test failures.
Develop systems for test result reporting, observability, and flaky test detection.
Write technical design documents and engineering proposals to drive cross-team alignment on automation strategy.
Create code-adjacent documentation and API references to enable self-service adoption by other developers.

What we're looking for

Experience designing and building test frameworks, harnesses, or automation platforms across unit, integration, and end-to-end layers.
Proficiency in Go or Python to write production-quality, maintainable code for automation tooling.
Experience designing API contracts and working with technologies such as JSON, ProtoBuf, REST, RPC, and XML.
Experience with Kubernetes, OpenStack, system virtualization, and infrastructure as code.
Familiarity with observability systems including metrics, logging, and tracing to instrument automation tooling.
Strong communication skills to articulate architecture decisions and technical tradeoffs to various audiences.
5+ years of relevant industry experience in software engineering (preferred).
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
