What you'll do

Design and build scalable distributed control planes, cloud orchestration engines, or software-defined networking controllers.
Develop and maintain high-performance microservices and RESTful APIs using Go, C++, or Python.
Manage and automate cloud provider networking resources programmatically via APIs and SDKs.
Implement infrastructure-as-code paradigms using tools like Terraform or OpenTofu for complex environments.
Build robust telemetry and logging systems to monitor production performance and identify anomalies.
Debug and resolve complex networking issues such as packet drops and split-brain scenarios in high-availability environments.
Develop features involving Linux network virtualization, including eBPF, iptables, and container networking.
Drive cross-functional technical alignment to meet multi-cloud networking requirements and ensure code quality.

What we're looking for

10 years of hands-on experience in software development.
At least 4 years of experience building scalable distributed control planes, cloud orchestration engines, or SDN controllers.
Proficiency in GoLang, C, Python, Java, C++, and scripting languages.
Deep knowledge of L3/L4 networking including IPv4/IPv6, Routing, IPAM, NAT, and DNS implementations.
Strong understanding of concurrency patterns, high-performance code, and microservice architectures.
Proven track record of root-causing complex networking anomalies in High-Availability environments.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/OpenTofu) and CI/CD pipelines (ArgoCD, GitLab CI).
Experience with Linux network virtualization constructs like eBPF, iptables/nftables, or OVS and Kube networking.
