What you'll do

Design, implement, and maintain tools and systems for service reliability, monitoring, and alerting.
Develop comprehensive incident management platforms to improve instrumentation and operability across the organization.
Act as an Incident Commander to lead cross-functional teams during high-severity production incidents.
Identify and implement improvements for service scalability, efficiency, and overall operational reliability.
Partner with infrastructure engineers to build tools that address specific challenges in managing services.
Participate in post-mortems to identify systemic issues and improve incident response procedures.
Mentor less-experienced engineers on effective incident handling and technical best practices.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
5+ years of experience in software engineering or SRE roles focusing on large scale distributed systems.
Strong coding skills in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or Go.
Experience with distributed systems and service-oriented architectures.
Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
Experience with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
Proficiency in software development best practices such as version control, automated testing, and CI/CD.
Professional level fluency in English.
