Senior Software Engineer Mission Systems Software Developer

What you'll do

• Develop software and conduct testing across all phases of the software development life cycle.
• Develop and maintain software architecture, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for mission systems.
• Lead the coding and integration of complex mission system components into functional software systems.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to less experienced software engineers on the team.
• Develop code within a CI/CD DevSecOps pipeline using agile methodologies and automated tools.
• Identify and analyze program software quality metrics to manage risk and improve overall quality.
• Act as a technical liaison for Program Managers to identify best practices and areas for improvement.

What we're looking for

• Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or another technical field.
• Must be a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 to meet export control requirements.
• Must have the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (Post-Start).
• Requires 10 years of experience with full life-cycle software development, modeling, simulation, testing, and/or analysis using C, C++, C#, Python, Java, Ada, and/or Linux.
• Requires 10 years of experience with version control systems such as Git, ClearCase, or Subversion.
• Preferred to have 14 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
• Must be able to provide technical leadership for software projects and guide less experienced engineers.
• U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
