Senior Software Engineer, Fraud Handling

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain fraud investigation systems using Java/JVM technologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement AI-driven investigations to improve accuracy and reduce operational costs.
• Automate and streamline manual processes to minimize friction for customers and agents.
• Optimize agent workflows and queue structures to increase resolution speed.
• Build tools that protect customers from financial crime and scams.
• Partner with the product team to develop solutions based on fraud prevention expertise.
• Take end-to-end ownership of projects while maintaining a strong focus on user experience.

What we're looking for

• 6+ years of experience with Java/JVM-based projects and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Python or a willingness to learn the language.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka or similar technologies.
• A strong product mindset and passion for user experience.
• Ability to work autonomously and take end-to-end ownership of projects.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience working with large language models in production (preferred).
• Understanding of machine learning concepts (preferred).
