Software Engineer II, Compromise & Fraud Protection

What you'll do

• Design and develop large-scale distributed software services and solutions for fraud detection.
• Build and maintain data tools to transform, manage, and access telemetry at scale.
• Develop features to detect and block fraudulent accounts, applications, and malicious entities.
• Integrate machine learning models into production systems to identify abuse patterns in real-time.
• Build and leverage reputation models for various entities within the ecosystem.
• Ensure services are modularized, secure, reliable, and actively monitored through high-quality engineering practices.
• Improve test coverage and implement integration tests to resolve service issues.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize automation, reliability, and monitoring for LiveSite.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of technical engineering experience coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Ability to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
• 4+ years of experience building software systems for large-scale, distributed platforms.
• 4+ years of cloud service experience with platforms like Azure, GCP, or AWS.
• 4+ years of experience working with high-scale, mission-critical SaaS products and service operations.
• 4+ years of experience in data analysis for security data management, logging, or monitoring solutions.
• Proven ability to mentor engineers and knowledge of data processing frameworks like Spark or Hadoop.
