What you'll do

Build and evolve components that support real-time quoting and decisioning with a focus on latency and throughput.
Implement and maintain risk controls, guardrails, and kill switch patterns for trading strategies.
Partner with quantitative analysts to productionalize models and improve market making capabilities.
Ensure high-fidelity decision logging so that strategies can be debugged, replayed, and improved.
Own the full software delivery lifecycle, including testing, deploying, monitoring, and maintaining production software.
Mentor junior engineers through pair programming, code reviews, and technical design discussions.
Translate complex requirements into simple, extendable code that follows industry best practices.
Identify and mitigate security risks while maintaining operational excellence through on-call support.

What we're looking for

Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related discipline.
5 or more years of industry experience in Engineering, Machine Learning, Data Science, Finance Engineering, or Statistics.
5 or more years of software development experience.
Proficiency in building services with a modern OOP language, with C# experience being beneficial.
Understanding of performance, hardware, and lower-level memory management, with C, C++, or Rust experience being beneficial.
Proficiency in GitOps patterns, CI/CD pipeline tooling, and cloud-based infrastructure including AWS.
Experience with relational databases, streaming technologies (Kafka preferred), and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).
Experience building event-driven real-time systems and familiarity with trading concepts like exposure and hedging (preferred).
