What you'll do

Design, develop, and implement large-scale, high-performance data models and pipelines for the Data Lake and Data Warehouse.
Improve the reliability and scalability of existing ETL processes.
Develop and implement data quality checks, QA procedures, and monitoring routines.
Manage a portfolio of data products to deliver high-quality and trustworthy data.
Work with business partners and engineering teams to collect and define required data requirements.
Onboard and support other engineers as they join the data engineering team.

What we're looking for

You must be located near one of the engineering hubs in Sunnyvale, San Francisco, or Seattle.
5+ years of professional experience.
3+ years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence, or a similar role.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java.
3+ years of experience in ETL orchestration and workflow management tools like Airflow, Flink, Oozie, and Azkaban using AWS/GCP.
Expert knowledge in Database fundamentals, SQL, and distributed computing.
3+ years of experience with distributed data ecosystems (Spark, Hive, Druid, Presto) and streaming technologies such as Kafka/Flink.
Experience working with Snowflake, Redshift, PostgreSQL, and/or other DBMS platforms.
