Senior Software Engineer, Core Infrastructure

What you'll do

• Design and optimize distributed systems for high scalability, resiliency, and large-scale data processing.
• Implement fault-tolerant mechanisms including redundancy, replication, automatic failover, circuit breakers, and timeouts.
• Build monitoring infrastructure such as dashboards, telemetry systems, and automated alerting to proactively detect failures.
• Develop automation scripts and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for troubleshooting and managing cloud infrastructure.
• Perform performance testing, load testing, and fault-injection scenarios to ensure system correctness.
• Participate in incident response, conduct root cause analyses, and author operational runbooks.
• Apply advanced security controls including encryption and access management in multi-tenant environments.
• Ensure all infrastructure deployments comply with corporate change management and documentation standards.

What we're looking for

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• 3 to 5+ years of experience in software engineering or related fields.
• Experience designing and implementing components for distributed systems with a focus on scalability, resiliency, and operability.
• Proficiency in developing fault-tolerant paths including redundancy, replication, automatic failover, retries, circuit breakers, and timeouts.
• Ability to implement performance and load testing, as well as telemetry, dashboards, and alerting mechanisms.
• Experience using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for managing cloud infrastructure and automation.
• Ability to apply advanced security controls including encryption and access management in multi-tenant environments.
• Ability to participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and operational support rotations.
