Join Cisco’s next-generation networking and AI infrastructure team as a senior software engineer, where you will contribute to the design and development of scalable software systems for high-speed networking platforms, coherent optical transceivers, PHY devices, and NPU-based systems. What we're looking for

6+ years of experience in software development with a degree in CS, EE, or related field
Proficient in C/C++, Python, and embedded systems development with Linux OS programming
Experience with coherent optics (ZR/ZR+), PHY/SerDes, FEC, ASIC/NPU, and DSP-based systems
Familiarity with CMIS and SFF standards for pluggable optics management frameworks
Knowledge of IOS-XR, SONiC, FBOSS, or similar NOS platforms for network operating systems
Ability to lead medium-scope features from technical design through completion independently
