What you'll do

Define, architect, design, test, and deliver new features for Cisco switches using open-source SONiC.
Write independent functional and design specifications for networking solutions.
Provide constant feedback to hardware and software teams to drive technical improvements.
Drive end-to-end product development and production support in a fast-paced environment.
Configure and debug complex networking systems and solutions.
Develop routing and switching features using scripting languages like Python.
Manage software delivery through CI/CD pipelines and version control tools.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree plus 7 years of related experience, Master's plus 4 years, or PhD plus 1 year of related experience.
5+ years of experience developing routing/switching features with test automation.
3+ years of experience configuring and debugging networking systems and solutions.
3+ years of experience using scripting languages including Python.
Knowledge of control and data plane technologies including L2, L3, BGP, EVPN, and VXLAN.
Exposure to open source NoS SONiC (preferred).
Familiarity with RDMA, RoCE, and HPC networks (preferred).
Knowledge of QoS and congestion control mechanisms in data center networks (preferred).
