As a Senior Software Engineer - C++, you will join the Global Secure Access Client team to lead complex endpoint initiatives involving user-mode services, kernel-mode components, and cloud-connected security systems. You will design and develop secure, reliable, and high-performance endpoint components while managing architectural tradeoffs between security, performance, compatibility, and maintainability across diverse customer environments. Your daily work involves solving ambiguous problems in operating-system internals and networking to create secure traffic-handling solutions. The role requires proficiency in C, C++, or Rust, along with deep knowledge of computer networking protocols like IP, TCP, UDP, DNS, and TLS. You will also utilize Windows internals, device drivers, and technologies such as WFP or NDIS. Key responsibilities include performing threat modeling, conducting code reviews, mentoring engineers, and diagnosing complex production issues using debuggers, crash dumps, and packet captures.

What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
4+ years of technical engineering experience coding in C, C++, or Rust (or equivalent experience).
Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud background checks and other required security screenings.
3+ years of experience with computer networking protocols such as IP, TCP, UDP, DNS, or TLS (preferred).
3+ years of experience developing software involving Windows internals, kernel-mode components, device drivers, or low-level operating-system APIs (preferred).
3+ years of experience developing or debugging systems software using C, C++, or Rust with focus on security and performance (preferred).
Experience leading the design and delivery of complex systems software across multiple components or teams (preferred).
Experience with Windows Filtering Platform (WFP), NDIS, production diagnostics, or large enterprise deployment considerations (preferred).
